LBRDC Special Economic Zone employees in Tala Caloocan City attended a Gender-Related Health Awareness Seminar last May 8, 2024, as part of the organization's core values on Employee Welfare and Gender and Development Program. Employees at the LBRDC Head Office in Malate, Manila City, also webcast the seminar.

LBRDC is concerned with the health and well-being of its workers, encouraging their retention and, above all, preserving their longevity. Among the goals of the Gender and Development Focal Point System is educating the community as a whole and as a segment of society about gender-related health issues.

The seminar provided insights and knowledge on the following topics:

a) Cervical Cancer Awareness

b) Ovarian Cancer Awareness

c) Prostate Cancer Awareness

d) Breast Cancer Awareness

e) Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Awareness Seminar

f) Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD)

g) Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) awareness

This was all made possible through in collaboration with the Health Office of the City Government of Caloocan.
